Due to planned maintenance there may be disruption to this site on Sunday 11th January from 8am through until 6pm. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.
Utility firms will be carrying out essential works on Hagley Road in Stourbridge this summer.
Dudley Council is taking the opportunity to resurface the road while the works are ongoing to cause minimal disruption to motorists.
The works will take place during the school summer holidays when the roads are less congested, again in a bid to cause minimal disruption.
Councillor Angus Adams, cabinet member for transportation, said:
“We have taken the opportunity to resurface the road from its junction with Oldswinford down to Stourbridge town centre while the utility companies carry out their works. We hope this forward planning and joined up thinking will mean as little disruption as possible. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience any of the works may create.”
The gas board, Severn Trent Water and the council will be carrying out their works from late July to early September. The work will be completed within six to eight weeks.
