The leisure pool at Stourbridge’s Crystal Leisure Centre will re-open to the public tomorrow afternoon (Fri).
The pool has been closed while electrical work was carried out following a power failure last week. But the problems have now been resolved in time for the pool to re-open before the hugely popular Bondi Beat which is held every Friday night.
Councillor Karen Shakespeare, cabinet member for the environment, said:
“We are pleased to say the leisure pool will be open again in time for the popular Bondi Beat. We would like to thank people for their patience and apologise for any inconvenience while the works were carried out.”
The dry side of the centre and the 25 metre pool will be open as usual throughout the day while the leisure pool will open at 4pm. Bondi Beat starts at 6pm.
