25 - Tenants and residents groups meetings

A series of tenants and residents association meetings (TRAs) are being held across the Dudley Borough during the month of April.

Dudley Council believes in the importance of tenants and residents groups and actively supports and encourages their involvement with the running of their estates.

The groups discuss many issues relating to their estates, including energy efficiency, modernisation programmes and ideas of how to make improvements to enrich resident’s lives.

The following meetings are scheduled throughout April which are open to tenants and residents within the area:

Brierley Hill Area

Hawbush TRA, coffee/information morning, 1^st April, St Pauls Community & Learning Centre, Hawbush Road at 10.00am – 1.00pm. This is a chance for residents to meet the tenants and residents association, their housing manager, police, fire brigade, Castle & Crystal Credit Union, energy extra and various other organisations.
Dudley Fields TRA, general meeting, 3^rd April, Brockmoor Community Centre, Pensnett Road, Brockmoor at 7.00pm
Pool View TRA, annual general meeting, 23^rd April, Hartshill Sorts & Social Club, Stourbridge Road at 11.00am

Dudley Area

Sledmere Forum, forum meeting, 10^th April, Sledmere Community Centre, School Road at 7.00pm
Old Park Farm TRA, general meeting, 14^th April, Sycamore Green School, Sycamore Green Road at 7.00pm

Halesowen

Highfields Forum, forum meeting, 22^nd April, The Lighthouse Project, Andrew Road, Halesowen at 4.30pm

North Dudley

Brunel & Perivale Forum, forum meeting, 24^th April, Summerhill Community Centre, Summerhill Road, Coseley at 7.00pm

High rise

High Rise Living Forum, forum meeting, 8^th April, The Lodge, Wellington Road, Dudley at 7.00pm

The following area forum meetings are scheduled for during April and are open to tenants and residents, who are encouraged to participate:

Brierley Hill area forum, 9^th April, St Mary’s Parish Centre, High Street, Brierley Hill at 6.30pm
Dudley area forum, 24^th April, The Lodge, Wellington Road, Dudley at 7.00pm
North Dudley open day, 26^th April. Now being held as part of the St Georges Day Celebrations at Vicar Street Gardens in Sedgley
Halesowen area forum, 9^th April, The Lighthouse Project, Andrew Road, Halesowen at 6.00pm
