Pensnett Tenants and Residents Association is calling for local people to have their say.
The group is holding its annual general meeting on March 13 at 7pm at the Pensnett Community Centre, High Street, Pensnett. Guest speakers include local councillors and officers who will be on hand to answer questions relating to the Pensnett area.
Tenants and residents groups offer people the opportunity to help shape decisions which affect their estates. As well as meetings, members can attend local estate walkabouts or community events which enable neighbours to meet up and get to know each other. New members are always welcome.
Councillor Michael Evans, cabinet member for housing, said:
“I would encourage residents to join their local tenants and residents group, as it can be a valuable way of getting their voices heard. Dudley Council is committed to ensuring residents have a say in the running of their estates and groups like these can also help foster a real community spirit.”
