28 - Book sale at Halesowen Library

Local residents can get their hands on bargain books when Halesowen Library hosts a book sale this week.

Halesowen Library will host its regular book sale this Saturday May 31 from 10am to 4pm.

Books on sale have been withdrawn from library shelves and are being replaced by new ones.  They will include fiction and non-fiction, reference books and children’s books.

Councillor Michael Evans, cabinet member for libraries and archives, said:
“I would urge people to get along to Halesowen Library as early as possible to avoid disappointment.  As always the council is keen for the books to go to a good home and the book sales are a great way for people to get their hands on old books at bargain prices which have now been replaced by new ones.”

People are advised to arrive early to avoid disappointment.
