Families interested in fostering can drop in at an information evening next month.
Dudley Council’s fostering team are holding a drop-in information evening on June 5 for anyone who would like to find out more about fostering.
The informal event in connection with Foster Care Fortnight is being held at the Village Hotel in Dudley from 6 – 8pm. The evening is an opportunity for adults and families to learn more about what fostering involves, ask questions and to have a confidential chat with members of the fostering team. No appointment is necessary, families are welcome to drop in any time during the course of the evening.
Foster Care Fortnight which is from 12-25 May is an annual campaign run by The Fostering Network to highlight that there is a shortage of 10,000 foster carers across the UK.
For more information about the information evening or fostering in general please contact Briony Harewood or Melanie Hill on 5833.
