Green-fingered council tenants have until the middle of next month to take part in an annual gardening competition.
The deadline to pick up application forms for this year’s competition, which promises to be bigger and better than ever, is June 13.
Judging will take place during July and application forms can be found in all housing offices, in the Spring edition of the tenant’s magazine HomeAffairs, or by ringing the tenant participation team on 01384 815168. Requests for forms can also be emailed to: participation@dudley.gov.uk.
This year’s competition includes the ‘best new entrant category’ to encourage people who have never participated in the competition before.
Linda Sanders, director of adult, community & housing services, said:
‘The annual garden competition is a great opportunity for people to show-off their skills and demonstrate the diversity of both plants and wildlife on offer in Dudley’s gardens. We have some wonderful garden displays across the borough and this event is a showcase opportunity for tenants to come forward and exhibit their skills, dedication, and hard work.’
