Dudley Council is geared up for the National Year of Reading, which is set to inspire more people to pick up a book and get reading in 2008. 
 
The new year marked the launch of the year of reading and Dudley Council is keen to encourage people to see the benefits of reading and how it can open doors to new possibilities for people of all ages.
 
A whole host of activities and events are lined up at libraries, schools and other venues during the year to celebrate the year of reading.  For a list of what’s on go to the link on the left hand menu.
