Lovers looking to tie the knot and new parents seeking a baby naming ceremony are in for a treat after Dudley’s celebratory services received a makeover.
The service offered byDudley Council’s registration and celebratory services has received a boost with the introduction of new commemorative certificates, ceremony information brochures and the addition of floral decorations. The Priory Suite and the Register Officer at Priory Hall in Dudley have also had recent refurbishments, including new furniture and carpet.
Bookings for marriages and civil partnerships at this venue and Stourbridge register office can be made up to a year in advance of the big day. People can also book at shorter notice for non-statutory ceremonies such as baby naming and renewal of vows.
In addition to any statutory legal certificates, people can now also receive the new commemorative certificates to remember their big day.
Councillor Adrian Turner, cabinet member for law and property, said:
“Our facilities in Dudley are always very popular and I’m sure these recent additions to the service can only improve them further. We recently held an open day which was very successful so I would urge people to book up in advance to ensure they can get the venue they want for their big day.”
Ceremonies at both Dudley and Stourbridge also offer a free web cam so loved ones who can’t make the big day can still watch the ceremony from anywhere in the world. The ceremonies also offer a wide range of choice in music and readings and people are also guaranteed a personal one to one service from the minute they book, all the way through to their ceremony.
