Dudley Council tenants are invited to a community information day to find out more about their estates and housing services.
The event is being held on Friday 14 November from 9.30am until 3pm at the Saltwells Education Centre in Netherton and is organised by housing service’s tenant participation team, housing services and the Dudley Federation of Tenants & Residents Associations.
Those attending this free event can find out how estates can be improved by taking action as a community and can visit the interactive information market place to find out about council and community support services, for example housing services and social care initiatives.
Councillor Michael Evans, cabinet member for housing, said:
“This is the fourth joint event we have held with the Dudley Federation of Tenants & Residents Associations and each one gets even better than the last. They are an opportunity for tenants to find out what is available to them as well as being able to make useful contacts with individuals and organisations.“
This year there is a quiz where one lucky winner can receive a flat screen TV* and the Fizzog Theatre Company will be putting on a production.
To book a space or to find out more information, tenants should telephone 01384 815168, or email participation@dudley.gov.uk. The event is free but spaces are limited and must be pre-booked.
