Lions Amateur Boxing Club have installed a new gate and security fencing thanks to Brierley Hill area committee.
The club was successful in receiving £7,500 via the capital allocations meeting prior to area committee on 31 January 2008.
The money has been spent on putting up a new gate and perimeter fence at the club in Bull Street.
Councillor David Blood, chair of Brierley Hill area committee, said:
“I am delighted that Brierley Hill area committee has been able to help this popular club by adding to their security and also allowing the young people who use the facility to train outside safely.”
