9 - Pensnett clean-up events

A number of clean-up events are set to be held in Pensnett in the coming weeks.
 
Dudley Council are calling local residents to volunteer to become involve in litter picks.  The clean ups will be arranged between 27 October and 7 November.
 
Dudley Council’s community renewal team work closely with partners in the area to help improve the lives of borough residents who live, work or play in the area.  The clean-up events are part of this work.
 
Councillor Peter Miller, cabinet member responsible for community renewal, said:
“We want the people in the borough to be proud of their communities and become actively involved in maintaining their environment. We hope this can be achieved by events like this and other educational activities.”
