Dudley Council works hard to ensure its services continue to run during the winter period. However, some services will be affected by the severe weather.

Gritting and roads
A 40-strong team based at the council’s Lister Road depot keep more than 460 kilometres of road clear during severe weather.

Schools
Any school closures caused by snow will appear here. Dudley borough schools are on half-term holidays during the week commencing February 13.

Housing repairs
During the current period of sub-zero temperatures, most external repairs e.g. paving, fencing, walls and roofing works have been suspended for safety and technical reasons. We will always try to advise people of any delays and make new arrangements to undertake the repairs as soon as the weather improves.
Emergency teams will however continue to respond to high priority emergency repairs. Demand for the emergency service continues to be very high and despite additional resources being deployed, tenants may experience some delay in operatives or contractors attending their home.

The Dell Stadium is open to the public except the stadium pitch which is closed due to flooding.
