The Gambling Act has been in force since 1st September 2007, this page contains background information and details of the Statement of Licensing Principals which sets out the policies and principals that Dudley MBC will apply when carrying out its licensing functions under the Gambling Act. Gambling Act 2005 - Dudley Draft Policy

Thank you to everyone who replied to Janet Elliott by 26th September 2006 with their comments on the Gambling Act 2005, Dudley Draft Policy.

The Licensing and Safety Committee considered all representations in their meeting of meeting of 19th October 2006 before recommending approval of the Gambling Act 2005, Statement of Principals to the full Council. General information about all council meetings is available to the Public and can be viewed on the Committee Information web pages.

The Gambling Act Policy Statement of Principals was approved at a meeting of the full Council of Dudley MBC on 4th December 2006, published on the 3rd January 2007 and came into effect on the 31st January 2007.

Further revisions to the Policy have been made following consultation since this, as part of the Policy Review process and the latest document is available for viewing at the Licensing Office or can be downloaded from the Gambling Licensing page.
