Councillor David Vickers

I am one of the three ward Councillors elected to serve the Halesowen South ward on Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council. I served on the Council from 2004-2006 and was re-elected in May 2008 and 2012.

I am the Deputy Leader of the Conservative Group and I serve on full Council meetings, the Appointments Committee and the Halesowen North and Halesowen South Community Forum.

I am a member of the Lye and Wollescote Partnership, the Chairman of the Lye Area Regeneration Alliance (Lara), the Chairman of the Ring and Ride User Forum Group and a member of the Dudley Deaf Children's Society. I am also a governor of two Primary Schools, Rufford and Tenterfields, one of which (Tenterfields) has a newly established children's centre of which I am on the management committee. Children and other members of the community who are at risk are amongst the main interest in my work on the Council.

You can view further information on the Committees or bodies on which I serve by following the link to the Committee Management Information System.
