Dudley Council is committed to supporting Dudley businesses.
In response to COVID-19 (coronavirus), the government announced two initial grant schemes to assist businesses, available to small businesses and those businesses in the retail, hospitality and leisure sectors.
These schemes have now ended as at midnight 14th August 2020. If you have already submitted an application, please be assured it will be dealt with as soon as possible. We will update if any similar grant schemes become available.
A discretionary fund was also set up to help support certain additional small businesses who were not eligible. Round 3 of the discretionary fund is open for applications on Monday 24th August until midnight on Friday 28th August. You can review details of the fund, check your eligibility and apply at Coronavirus Discretionary Grants Fund.
In Dudley borough we are also providing further support and guidance. Please visit Dudley Business First for this information.

Hire experienced, work-ready apprentices - When you take on new apprentices, consider hiring apprentices who have been made redundant . They already have relevant skills and experience, and they qualify for the incentive payments too.
Support for apprentices facing redundancy - If you’re considering making an apprentice redundant, or you’re aware of employers who are, you can support them by sharing this guidance for apprentices facing redundancy.
