If you have been told by the NHS to self-isolate, either because you have tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) or you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive, you may be entitled to some financial support during your self-isolation period.
To apply for help
If you wish to apply for help please complete the following application form. This will be the quickest way to get your application to us. You will need the following information:-
- Your name, address, contact telephone number.
- Confirmation that you have been advised to isolate on or after September 28, and your Test and Trace Unique Number (if you have received it). This is an 8 digit reference containing both letters and numbers that you would have received as a text. You will need to have confirmed your registration with ‘test and trace’ for an isolation payment to be considered.
- Confirmation that you are employed or self-employed AND in receipt of a qualifying benefit, and will suffer from a loss of earnings due to isolating.
