We are working towards:
Improving community spirit
Keeping the area in good condition
Updating and keeping facilities modern and in good condition
Improving Road Safety
To make all of these worthwhile things happen, we need the support of local people. So come and give us your support in anyway you can.
The group hold regular estate walkabouts with our Housing Manager. During these multi-agency walks we identify issues across the area that may need repair or improvement. These walks are an ideal opportunity for local people to get involved and tell us what they think about the area in which we live in….so if you see us out and about why not join us?
During our walkabouts and our public meetings, we are made aware of problems on our estate that need addressing. We help to improve these issues by applying for funding through community safety bids, capital bids and other funding streams. This funding has enabled us to carry out projects such as replacing the communal doors of blocks of flats and converting a disused garage site into an allotment.
Working in Partnership
The group work closely with other Tenants and Residents Associations in the area (old St Andrews Ward) to carry other services which benefit the local community. Two of these projects are:

Big Clean Up group
We are also part of the Big Clean Up group – A group of volunteers from across the St Andrews ward working in partnership with Dudley council to help make the area a cleaner place to live.
Darby End Tenants and Residents Association works in partnership with council officers and local Councillors to ensure that the ‘Voice of Darby End’ is heard. For more information please contact Emma Jones, Participation Development Officer by email (insert PDO email) or telephone 01384 815168.
