You can download the free app now for your iphone or android phones from the app store (just search ‘Dudley Council’).
On the app you can report all street issues while council house tenants can also report housing issues. On top of this, you can catch up on latest news, health and welfare advice and even get latest bus and train times to help you plan your journeys.
The Dudley mobile app uses technology from the council’s Digi TV service, people can catch up on news, check out upcoming events and report issues and request information to the council.
Through Dudley Mobile people can report things such as litter, potholes, vandalism, bin collections, council housing repairs, abandoned vehicles and street light problems.
Residents can also register to vote, access a section on benefit support and find out more about recycling services, direct debits, blue badges, school register and housing register application. People can also view and apply for council homes on the system.
Additionally, people can find out bus and train times, search for jobs and make appointments to visit their GP.
The free service is also available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to people through the Digi TV package via their television. Subscribers to Virgin Media can access Digi TV by hitting the interactive button on their remote control and going to News and Info and then Looking Local.
