Posted on:

Children and young people can get unlimited access to activities for just £7 for seven days at Halesowen Leisure Centre during February half term.

The Dudley Council-run leisure centre is bringing back its popular special offer from 9am to 5pm each day.

It includes access to its boombox inflatable aqua run sessions, fun float pool sessions, swimming, as well as squash and table tennis throughout February half term. Some restrictions may apply and sessions are subject to availability.

The boombox inflatable aqua run sessions will be held on Tuesday (18) and Thursday (20) from 1.30 to 3pm in the main pool. Children must be at least eight years old and 1.2 metres tall to take part. Children are required to complete a swimming test before participation. The test will take place from 1.15pm to 1.30pm. The sessions cost £4.60 for adults and £3.10 for children and young people aged 8 to 15

The fun float pool sessions will be on Monday (17) and Friday (21) in the main pool and learner pool and on Tuesday (18) and Thursday (20) in the learner pool from 1.30 to 3pm.  No age restrictions apply. The sessions cost £4.60 for adults, £3.10 for children and young people aged 5 to 15 and £1.10 for under 5s.

The centre, along with Dudley and Crystal leisure centres, will also offer free swimming for children and young people aged 16 and under from Saturday 15 to Sunday 23 February. Further information including how to register can be found at

Councillor Ian Kettle, cabinet member responsible for leisure centres, said:

Our leisure centres provide a huge range of sports and activities to keep children busy during the school holidays. I’d urge parents and carers to make the most of the sessions on offer, including the return of the popular free swimming. I would remind people that this is a popular activity so can get very busy at peak times.

A 50 percent discount for Options+ Leisure Discount holders may apply to some activities. Call the leisure centres on 01384 812800, visit or email for further details.
