The Cream Tea Society has declared tomorrow National Cream Tea Day (28 June) and people from across the borough are being reminded that they can enjoy an indulgent afternoon tea at Himley Hall.
The hall offers a classic combination of ribbon sandwiches, scones with fruit conserve and cream, sweet pastries and tea in superb settings, where royal newlyweds once spent their honeymoon and princes and earls once strolled.
Dates are available now for July, August, September and October and prices start from £21 per person.
Councillor Ian Kettle, Dudley Council’s cabinet member responsible for halls, said:
Himley Hall and Park offers a mouth wateringly delicious afternoon tea in the most beautiful surroundings.
It’s a great way to celebrate a special occasion and with gift vouchers available it’s also the perfect gift.
