Boombox fun for kids at Halesowen Leisure Centre

There’s stacks to do with the kids at Halesowen Leisure Centre this Whit holiday.

The popular free swimming offer continues this Whit for children aged 16 and under. To register and for information regarding free swimming during the school holidays visit www.freeswimindudley.co.uk.  Timetables can be picked up from reception and are also available on the website www.dudley.gov.uk/sport

A new ‘Boombox’ inflatable aqua run session is available on Tuesday and Thursday from 1.30 – 3pm, suitable for ages 8+. A swimming test is required before participation from 1.15 – 1.30pm and children must be a minimum height of 1.2 metres.  It costs £4.40 adults, £2.90 under 16’s. A 50 per cent discount is available with an Options+ leisure discount card.

There’s more chance to splash about with fun float pool sessions which run on Friday in the main and learner pool and Tuesday and Thursday in the learner pool. Sessions run 1.30 – 3pm and there are no age restrictions. Sessions cost £4.40 adults, £2.90 for under 16’s. A 50 per cent discount is available with an Options+ leisure discount card.

There’s a special offer to make the most of the centre’s holiday activities – for just £7 for 7 days during the school holidays, juniors can get unlimited acess from 9am to 5pm to public swimming, boombox inflatable aqua run, fun float pool session, squash and table tennis.

Junior lifestyle membership is also available for under 18s, allowing unlimited access to public swimming, badminton, squash and table tennis from opening to 5pm weekdays and all day Saturday and Sunday, Lifestyles gyms from opening to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday, selected group fitness classes, under 5’s gym and play sessions at Crystal Leisure Centre, use of the running track at The Dell Stadium, seven day advance telephone and online booking for selected activities.

A membership costs £15 a month or £150 per year and is valid at Crystal, Dudley and Halesowen leisure centres.
