Christmas light switch ons 2021

Posted on:

Residents have a choice of six Christmas light switch-ons this year.

Festivities kick off in Stourbridge and Halesowen on Saturday 20 November from 11am to 5pm.

Activities follow in Coseley on Friday 26 November from 4pm to 6.30pm and then move back to Dudley town centre on Saturday 27 November from 12pm to 5pm.

Things move to Brierley Hill town centre on Saturday 27 November, 11am to 5pm and come to a close on Sunday 28 November at Sedgley’s Bull Ring from 4pm to 7pm.

Each event will include a stage with live entertainment, street entertainers, market stalls and seasonal refreshments.

Councillor Simon Phipps, cabinet member for enterprise and regeneration, said:

We’re really glad we can run our full range of Christmas light switch-ons this year with the support of Welcome Back Funding.
These events help to support our town centre businesses and traders who have been there for us throughout the pandemic. We hope people come along to the events, enjoy the entertainment on offer and show their support for local businesses.

This event is organised by Dudley Council with the support of Welcome Back Funding.
