People who live or work in Gornal are being invited to attend community engagement events regarding disused land off Holloway Street.
Dudley Council is working with The Gornal Field friends group to look at future plans for the area.
There will be a group discussion from 6pm to 8pm at the Royal British Legion, Ruiton Street, on Tuesday 18 June. There will also be drop in sessions between 2.30pm and 6pm on the same day.
Attendees will be able to explore the opportunities to utilise and improve the land, which suffers from problems of fly tipping and antisocial behaviour.
Councillor Ian Kettle, cabinet member for regeneration and enterprise, said:
This area has not had any investment in quite some time and it is clearly in need of a cash injection.
I hope these meetings will enable people who live and work in Gornal to think about some of the ways to create funding and make improvements there.
