If you are looking to buy a special gift for the person who has everything, why not get them a voucher for afternoon tea at Himley Hall.
The 18th century historic building, which has entertained royalty and gentry, now offers indulgent afternoon tea throughout the year.
The experience includes expertly blended tea, and homemade sandwiches, cakes and scones served in one of the period rooms. Visitors can then enjoy the Capability Brown landscaped grounds, or visit the south galleries to view artwork by local artists.
Vouchers are per person and start at £21, with the option to upgrade to sparkling Prosecco or refreshing gin and tonic for £24.50.
Councillor Ian Kettle, cabinet member for tourism, said:
These afternoon teas are very successful and sell out quickly. The venue is truly magnificent and provides the opportunity for visitors to burn off some of the calories they’ve consumed by strolling around the beautifully landscaped gardens. To think, in years gone by, royalty and famous faces dined here and now it is available to anyone else who wanted to sample this delicious afternoon tea.
Afternoon Tea at Himley must be pre-booked and is offered on specific dates – see www.himleyhallandpark.co.uk for a full list of availability. This event is also bookable for parties up to 100 people.
Vouchers can be purchased online at www.himleyhallandpark.co.uk, by calling 01384 817817, or directly from the venue.
