TV comic Jimmy Carr has announced an unprecedented fourth date for his tour show at Dudley Town Hall, it was revealed today.
Carr will perform a 10pm late show at the St James’s Road venue on Saturday September 14, with tickets for the new date going on sale from 10am on Friday.
The hugely popular comedian is one of the world’s most recognisable stand-ups and is the host of programmes such as 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, The Big Fat Quiz of the Year and Comedy Roast.
The 46-year-old, as well as appearing on Live At The Apollo, has also been on countless other comedy panel shows including A League of Their Own, Have I Got News For You, Celebrity Juice, QI and Room 101.
He is already performing two dates of his new show, called Terribly Funny, at the town hall on Saturday May 11 next year with an early (sold out) and a late show (only a few tickets left) scheduled in.
A third date was added for 7pm on Saturday September 14 and that has almost sold out too – so bosses have now added a 10pm date on the same night.
Rupert Knowlden, manager of Dudley Town Hall, said:
We’re thrilled to announce another date in Dudley with one of the world’s most popular stand-ups.
Jimmy always sells well here at the Town Hall, but adding a fourth show takes us into uncharted territory.”
Tickets cost £29.50 and are available at www.boroughhalls.co.uk or by calling the box office on (01384) 812812. Doors open at 6.15pm, with the show starting around 7pm.
