Jobs advice and support for young people affected by Covid-19

Posted on:

Employment advice and support is available for young people in the borough worried about the future due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Black Country Impact supports 16 to 29-year olds living in the Black Country who are not in employment, education or training. It provides one-to-one help for people to take the next steps towards training or a job.

Councillor Patrick Harley, leader of the council, said:

We are fully aware and sympathetic that for many people, the coronavirus crisis will have brought worries about their livelihoods and their futures.
Throughout the pandemic Black Country Impact has developed a package of virtual online support, making it easier than ever to find out what training and employment opportunities are out there.
Black Country Impact is uniquely placed to provide a wide range of services which includes individualised careers advice and courses to match aspirations, virtual counselling, and even help with travel and things like clothing for interviews.
If you’re concerned about the future, please get in touch, we can help.
