Dudley SENDIASS service, which provides impartial support and advice to young people with SEND and their families, is aiming the event at young people aged 14 – 25 and those who support them.

It has been organised to inform and support the young people in making decisions relating to their special educational needs and disabilities and will bring together the wide range of services and agencies available as they make their transition into adulthood.

Councillor Sue Ridney, cabinet member for children’s services, said:

Dudley Council is passionate about supporting all our young people in reaching their potential and fulfilling their dreams.
This fantastic event is being organised to provide tailored support to young people who have special educational needs or disabilities and I am sure it will prove most useful to them and their families.”

The event is being held at Saltwells Education Centre in Netherton, registration is from 9.30am. It is free but people should reserve a place in advance by calling 01384 817373.
