Join in the fun and take part in an eco craft at Buckpool and Fen’s Pool Nature Reserves this half term.
On Tuesday 29 October wardens will be making spooky chinese lanterns which are both ornamental and eco friendly. The lanterns are purely decorative and not designed to fly.
On Wednesday 30 October youngsters can make pine cone bird feeders to help garden birds this winter. They’ll also have the chance to make a cute pine cone critter to take home.
Both sessions run from 1pm – 3pm. Sessions are free but must be booked in advance on 01384 812780. Meet for both sessions at the Wardens Base car park on the corner of Bryce Road and Pensnett Road, DY5 4NE.
