Premium tickets sell out for Himley Bonfire

Posted on:

People are being encouraged to book discounted tickets for Himley Bonfire on November 3 with premium tickets for the event now sold out.

1,500 tickets have already sold for the 20,000 capacity event and a discount of up to 20 per cent is available when people book online in advance.

Himley Bonfire

This year the bonfire will celebrate inspirational heroes and heroines from the world of entertainment and sport, as well as family members and people who are remarkable in their own way.

As a respectful commemoration of the end of World War I, 100 years on, a unique tribute will also be paid to those soldiers who heroically battled and for those who lost their lives. People can post on Twitter who their hero is - #whoisyourhero?

The towering bonfire of 1,500 pallets will be the centrepiece and the 25-minute fireworks display, synchronised to music, will amaze crowds. Visitors can also enjoy the Heart 100.7 roadshow, a giant funfair, a night market from LSD Promotions, live entertainment and seasonal refreshments.

The advanced online ticketing means that people can take advantage of a discount of up to 20 per cent off the gate price. A standard adult ticket is £10, standard child and senior citizen £5.50, family (two adults, two children) £24.

Councillor Keiran Casey, cabinet member for regeneration and enterprise, said:

Tickets for our fantastic Himley Bonfire are flying off the shelves and the premium tickets are now all sold out.
I've been going to Himley Bonfire since I was a young kid and this is going to be another brilliant show this year, so I would encourage everyone to book online now and save up to 20 per cent on their tickets.

Gates open at 4.30pm, the bonfire will be lit at 7.45pm and the fireworks display is at 8.30pm.
