Fans of The Sound of Music are being invited to dress up as their favourite characters in a sing-along celebration of the hit musical at Dudley Town Hall.
Sing-a-Long-a Sound of Music is on at the St James’s Road venue on Friday March 15 next year, with tickets on sale now.
It will see the classic Julie Andrews film musical shown in full in full-screen technicolour, with lyric subtitles so the whole audience can sing along.
There will be prizes for the best fancy dress and a free interactive props bag. The bag contains five props, which are used in unison by the whole audience at key moments during the movie.
Alex Jackson, booker for Dudley Borough Halls, said:
We last hosted this event back in 2007 and it went down an absolute storm.
So we're delighted to welcome the original Sing-a-Long-a phenomenon back to Dudley Town Hall and very much look forward to another fun-filled evening.
The audience will very much be the stars of the show and almost anything can happen – the first rule of Sing-a-long-a is there are no rules!"
Tickets cost £15 each, with a group discount of one free ticket for every 10 booked.
Doors open at 6.15pm, with the show starting at 7pm.
