Summer at Priory Park
There’s something for everyone at Priory Park this summer.
There are activity days planned throughout the summer including bug craft and pond dipping on Tuesday 7 and Tuesday 21 August from 1 – 3pm. The sessions start with a craft activity at 1pm, followed by pond dipping. £1 suggested donation.
There are two treasure hunt and craft sessions on Tuesday 14 and Tuesday 28 August. Drop in anytime from 1 - 3pm to complete the treasure hunt and a craft activity. £1 suggested donation.
Join in with family games on 9, 16, 23 and 30 August from 11am – 12noon. Arrive for an 11am start with free family games and sports including rounders, parachute games and a mini Olympics.
On Thursday 16 August from 1 – 3pm there’s a chance to take part in a free gardening session and plant ingredients for pizzas to grow at home. Children can also prepare and cook pizzas on an open fire using fresh, healthy ingredients. Meet at the Pavilion for all of these activities.
Play Week will be on site on Thursday 2 August from 12 to 4pm. Children must be registered in advance to take part in the activities which include group games, sports, craft activities and assault courses.
Tennis for Free will be running training sessions for different age groups on Mondays from 23 July – 20 August. Sessions from 4 to 5pm for ages five to nine, 5-6pm for ages ten to fifteen and 6 to 7pm for adult beginners. There are also free all age sessions every Sunday from 10am to 12pm.
Dudley Community Church will be hosting Unity Brings their free Community Fun Day on Saturday 4 August from 12 – 4pm, with games, bouncy castle, face painting, live music, food, stalls, football tournament, Zumba and more.
