Summer family fun
Families will be jumping, skipping, splashing and running their way through the summer holidays with a packed programme of activities for children.
The busy schedule of sports, games and activities taking place at three leisure centres has been unveiled by Dudley Council.
Halesowen Leisure Centre has a range of fun swimming pool sessions including a brand new ‘Boombox’ inflatable aqua run and fun float sessions. Staff are also offering a £7 for seven days deal for juniors throughout the holidays which includes the ‘Boombox’ inflatable aqua run and float sessions, swimming, squash, table tennis and much more.
Dudley Leisure Centre is organising football, rounders, basketball and many other sports for £20 a day as part of the Junior Activezone. The session is suitable for eight to 12 years olds and takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Crystal Leisure Centre in Stourbridge is offering junior swim lessons for children aged four and over, soft play and crèche for young children.
Trampoline sessions for five to 15 year olds cater for all abilities for £6.30 a session, and there’s an under fives session too, for £5.20.
Children can be creative and make a themed gift to take home with the summer art and crafts session. The sessions are suitable for five to 11 year olds and take place on Tuesday 23 July and Tuesday 13 August at 11am to 12pm.
Fun sports sessions for children with learning or physical disabilities and their siblings or friends is available on 1 and 22 August. Inclusive Activezone activities are suitable for children ages five to 16 years.
The centre also offers swimming in the leisure pool as well as a range of court sports throughout the summer.
Options+ leisure discount is available on selected sessions and offers a 50 percent discount to concessionary groups.

Our leisure centres are once again planning a packed out summer holiday programme for children who want to keep busy.
Sessions are very popular and I would encourage parents to contact the centres to reserve spaces as soon as possible.”=
