Under 5s day event fun

Little ones can enjoy a special day out when Himley Hall and Park hosts the annual under 5s day on Friday 29 June.

Families are preapring for the under 5s dayLittle ones can enjoy a special day out when Himley Hall and Park hosts the annual under 5s day on Friday 29 June.

The popular Dudley Council event, which features activities and entertainment for children under the age of five, runs from 10am to 3pm.

Himley Hall and Park’s very own beach, complete with giant sandpit, buckets and spades and Punch and Judy Shows will be on offer throughout.

Baby & Toddler Sense, Music Bugs, Rugby Tots, Creation Station, Kung fu cubs, Moo music, Hartbeeps and Baby Ballet will all be making an appearance plus many more.

Children can also enjoy train and donkey rides and a children’s funfair will add to the occasion.

Tickets are available to purchase now and are 20 percent cheaper online. People can visit the Himley Hall website for more information or to book.

Councillor Ian Kettle, cabinet member responsible for halls, said:

The under 5s day is one of the region’s largest preschool events and we are expecting over 4,000 visitors to the park on the big day.
For the first time this year, we are introducing at 20 per cent saving for parents and carers who wish to book online in advance.
