Whit activities at Crystal Leisure Centre

There’s stacks to do with the kids at the Crystal Leisure Centre this Whit holiday.

The popular free swimming offer continues this Whit for children aged 16 and under. The leisure pool, complete with slides, bubble seat, rapids and shallow beach area will be open from Monday to Friday 9am - 1pm for families only and on Monday to Friday from 1pm - 5pm for public swimming and Saturday and Sunday 9am - 5pm, again for public swimming. On Wednesday 29 May there’s a chance to take part in big bounce giant inflatable play. The sports hall will be turned into an arena filled with inflatable wipeout games, huge slides, assault courses and more. Suitable for ages 2 - 13 years, sessions run from 10am - 11.30am, 11.45am - 1.15pm, 1.30pm - 3pm and 3.15pm - 4.45pm.

To book, go to www.ticketsource.co.uk/BigBounce Sessions cost £7 per child and £1 per adult +booking fee. The equipment is only for use by ages 13 and under. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. One adult may be responsible for up to five children.

Juniors under the age of 16 can receive 50% off the full adult price, on a no booking in advance basis for badminton, squash, five-a-side football, netball and basketball. Equipment is provided. Bookings are subject to availability. This discount available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and all day Saturday and Sunday.

The soft play suite, suitable for children age seven and under, is open throughout the week. Parents must stay with their children. Entrance maybe limited when busy. It costs £2.70 per child. Times are Monday 9.30am - 4pm, Tuesday 12.45pm - 4pm, Wednesday 9.30am - 6pm, Thursday 9.30am - 4pm, Friday 12.15pm - 3pm, Saturday 9.30am - 12.30pm and Sunday 9.30am - 12.30pm

The crèche, suitable for children from birth to under seven years of age is also open. Sessions are available for up to 2 hours at a time. Fun activities include the soft play suite, play dough, jigsaws, books, baby area, drawing and much more.
Parents using the crèche must remain in the centre and be contactable at all times. £4.50 per child. Times are Monday – closed, Tuesday 9.30am - 12.30pm and
Friday 9.30am - 12pm

Junior lifestyle membership is also available for under 18s, allowing unlimited access to public swimming, badminton, squash and table tennis from opening to 5pm weekdays and all day Saturday and Sunday, Lifestyles gyms from opening to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday, selected group fitness classes, under 5’s gym and play sessions at Crystal Leisure Centre, use of the running track at The Dell Stadium, seven day advance telephone and online booking for selected activities.

A membership costs £15 a month or £150 per year and is valid at Crystal, Dudley and Halesowen leisure centres.

The centre will close at 6pm on Bank Holiday Monday 27 May.
