Have fun at leisure centres this Whit Week with pre-booked sessions.

Dudley Leisure Centre is now offering family splash swimming sessions seven days a week and is hosting sessions during Whit week (Monday 31 May to Friday 4 June). To book a session please contact the centre on 01384 812800 (option 1). A payment of £13.40 per session will be required when booking, plus any additional family members participating up to a maximum of 6 from the same household. For more information visit the leisure centre pages on the council website

Halesowen is offering lane swimming only for competent swimmers and a few slower paced sessions. The pools at Crystal are closed due to refurbishment work.

Soft play sessions are available for children aged seven years and under at Crystal Leisure Centre. Badminton is available at Crystal and Dudley but must be pre-booked by calling the centres. The gyms at Crystal, Dudley and Halesowen are open for juniors aged 12 years and over but they require an induction prior to attending.

All sessions for all activities must be pre-booked.

Councillor Simon Phipps, cabinet member for regeneration and enterprise said:

Even with restrictions we’ve managed to open up as many of our facilities as possible so that families can use our centres over the Whitsun break.
But it’s really important that people pre-book and adhere to all the guidelines in order to stay safe and I’d recommend people visit the leisure centre web pages before making their booking. We want people to have fun, get fit but stay safe.

Crystal, Dudley and Halesowen leisure centres will operate normal opening hours on Bank Holiday Monday 31 May. The Dell Stadium and Coseley Leisure Centre will be closed.
From Tuesday 1 June, Crystal Leisure Centre will re-open its squash and table-tennis facilities and Café Crystal will also re-open. Dudley Leisure Centre will re-open for squash. Restrictions apply to activities.
