Are you someone who uses or has used care and health services? Do you know or care for someone? What does Dignity mean to you?
In Dudley user-led organisations, Dudley Centre for Inclusive Living and Disability in Action have been working with HealthWatch Dudley and the council to draw up a Dignity Charter for Dudley.
The Charter is the culmination of four years work where organisations have spoken to people in our community to find out what Dignity means to them.
Dignity in Dudley is part of the National Dignity Campaign which is about putting dignity and respect at the heart of care services. Giving people dignity in care, changing the future of care services and placing greater emphasis on improving the quality of care and the experience of people using services.
