You can apply for a Blue Badge if you meet one of the following; this applies to first time applicants and those renewing an existing badge:
An individual can re-apply for a blue badge if their badge has been lost, stolen or damaged.
If you have a badge that has been lost, stolen or damaged, that was issued by Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council you can apply for a replacement badge. To apply you are required to download and complete the application form. Application forms that are not completed correctly or do not have the required documentation with them will be returned to the applicant.
An organisation may be eligible for a blue badge if they meet the following criteria:
In all circumstances, badges will be supplied to an organisation or department (e.g. Social Services Department) rather than to individual staff members.
All employees of the organisation who will be using the badge should be reminded that they must only use the badge for the purposes of transporting disabled people in their care who meet one or more of the eligibility criteria for a badge. These employees should be reminded that if they use the badge to take advantage of the concessions when there are no passengers in the vehicle who are eligible for a badge they will face a fine of up to £1,000.
