Mr S was offered day sessions at Queens Cross Centre for adults with physical disabilities. Here he takes part in a wide range of activities and has become a very active member of Disability in Action – the centre’s user led organisation.
Mr S is now the editor of Disability in Action’s newsletter; he is an ambassador for the centre and is a peer support mentor with the organisation.
Mr S says that he feels fulfilled, with a real sense of direction to his life. He loves his work with Disability in Action and has a focus and a purpose for the future.
