Extra Care housing is a type of purpose built housing scheme to enable people over 55 who want to continue to live independently but with the added benefit of care and support as and when it is needed.
We have worked with social housing provider Midland Heart to offer extra care housing for people who live in the Dudley borough.
Currently three schemes are operating - Broad Meadow located on Middlepark Road, Russells Hall, Willowfields on Whitehouse Street, Coseley and Lime Gardens off Slade Road, Cradley.
Extra care schemes offer an exceptional range of facilities which encourage people to live life to the full and embrace new opportunities regardless of their age or ability.
The schemes offer independent apartments (to rent or to buy) in a safe and homely community setting. Residents are part of an active, friendly community whilst having the assurance that care and support is available when required, 24 hours a day, seven days per week.
