You can enrol on a course by visiting the centre where the course is running or alternatively telephone the centre to reserve your place and complete the enrolment form when you start your course.

The minimum age of registration is 19 years.

Methods of payment

Fees charged for adult learning courses vary – fees for individual courses are included in the course details in our online brochure or our online directory of classes and courses.


If you are in receipt of any of the benefits listed below 75% of the fees are discounted. For example, a course costing £50 will cost you £12.50p.

  • Job Seekers Allowance (JSA)
  • Employment Support Allowance (ESA)
  • Income Support
  • Working Tax Credit
  • Housing Benefit
  • Child Tax Credit
  • Pension Credit.

Courses are free to those taking part in Family Maths, Family Language and Family English or adult maths and English courses below level 2.

How can I pay?

Payment is by cash or cheque. Debit cards are accepted in some centres - please check the payment arrangements at your centre.
