The park is located close to Coseley railway station, on the Birmingham New Road. The park has a small car park, children's play area, next to newly refurbished tennis courts. An outdoor gym and activity centre were installed in 2010, with Park Rangers who offer daily health activities and walks. All activities are free.
The area has a wide selection of managed tarmac paths, that lead down to a skate park. The tree area is home to an abundance of wildlife and birds. Along the paths are suitably positioned benches which form part of a Blue Badge disabled route, along with bins and dog bins.
The park has many areas of open grass idea for team games. It has a 5-a-side football area with one goal and an area big enough for a larger football pitch or team games. Running along the perimeter of the park, are trees which limit the affects of the traffic and in position is a secure perimeter fence to aid safety for groups with children. The side paths lead to shaded and unshaded of open grass, idea for family days out to perimeter recreation games and enable privacy for picnics. The park has a flowing nature, that is not steep and not too flat, positioning walking and running as optimal activities to encompass the area.
