Easing of restrictions in leisure centres

Following the government’s announcement regarding the easing of restrictions, we are pleased to be able to offer a more comprehensive programme at our centres but we will continue to take a cautious approach on how we operate. Please visit the individual centres webpages for times, sessions and other useful information.

Please be advised that, due to the on-going Covid situation, we are experiencing staffing shortages. Therefore, sessions may be cancelled or restricted at short notice. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Rules, regulations and Covid-19 guidance following the easing of restrictions

New rules and regulations

Following government advice in relation to COVID-19 and advice from the Football Association, we are easing restrictions at the centre. Please note the following:

  • Coseley Sports Centre football pitches will be available to all teams/clubs and casual bookings.
  • All football bookings wishing to use the centre are advised to book in advance prior to arrival.
  • When booking, information will be requested to reserve your booking. Risk assessments will be required for all grass pitch reservations.
  • As Coseley Sports Centre doesn’t offer an online booking facility, customers will need to call 01384 816568 to book a football pitch, badminton court or table tennis table.
  • All grass pitch bookings must be paid for in advance in person. There is a ‘no refund’ policy in place.
  • A five minute ‘safety buffer’ will be built into all bookings to allow for any set ups and to enable the previous booking to exit the pitch.
  • Do not touch or move the astro-turf goals. The goals will be set up according to your booking. Any teams found moving goals will be asked to leave and this may jeopardise any future bookings.
  • Spectators/parents will be allowed to remain on site and can spectate in designated areas.
  • Shower facilities for grass pitch bookings are closed, however toilet facilities are available.
  • Changing rooms, showers and toilet facilities for astro-turf and indoor bookings are available.
  • The squash courts, main hall and small gymnasium are available to use, however the gym/fitness room and dance studio remain closed.
  • Drinks and vending machines are not available. Please bring your own drinks along (no glass bottles) and we respectfully ask that you dispose of any items you bring with you in the bins provided.
  • Please bring your own equipment as equipment hire is not available.
