There are a number of clubs meet at the centre on a weekly basis, which offer activities outside of those offered by the Dudley Leisure Centre. Further information on each of the clubs can be obtained by contacting the club directly using the contact details below or by telephoning reception for details.

Monday Fun Club

An exciting activity club for children who have a disability. Suitable for children from any of Dudley’s special schools and those children in mainstream school with a disability. Siblings and friends without a disability are welcome to attend. Parents/carers are required to stay but there is free tea and coffee for them. It’s also a chance of a catch up or make new friends. Children can play sports, use the soft play equipment or bounce on the bouncy castle.

It is a sociable activity club where children are encouraged to engage in energetic play or join in with the adaptive sports on offer. There should be something suitable for every child. There is a large bouncy castle with a slide; Soft play equipment; specialist sports equipment and some sensory equipment.

Deliverers are very experienced in working with people with disabilities. They can use basic Makaton.

When: Monday’s 4.45-5.45pm

Cost: A donation is welcomed parents and carers offer £1.50

Stourbridge Swimming Club

Stourbridge Swimming Club is affiliated to the Worcester County in the West Midland Region of the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA). Established in 1901, the Club has around 300 members and is one of the largest in the area. Swimmers currently train in six different pools including Dudley and Stourbridge leisure centres and a number of school pools.

The club teach from beginners, improvers to intermediates and advanced. Coaching spans from junior to senior at County, Region and National standards. There are a variety of incentive schemes to keep swimmers enthusiastic and motivated. These include awards, trophies and team competition, teaching and awards

Badminton Club

The Badminton Club furthers the playing of badminton both at a social and competition level. The session takes place on a Sunday evening from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. For further information pop along and speak to the club organisers.
