Bronze Memorial Wall Plaques at Gornal Wood

Cast bronze memorial plaques are an established form of memorial displayed on the Memorial Wall at Gornal Wood Cemetery. The studio crafted plaque has the letters cast in relief and each plaque is securely held on a backing plate attached to the wall.

The cast plaques measuring 165 x 63mm will accommodate an inscription of up to 40 letters or figures which can commemorate one or two loved ones. They are fixed to walls in the flower room, chapel exit corridor and the Book of Remembrance room.

Individual plaques are placed one above another and it is possible to purchase multiple plaques to form a linked inscription. Display arrangements for the plaques are at the discretion of the Cemetery. It is not possible to reserve spaces. Should it be requested that plaques are combined, it may necessitate the relocation of existing plaques to enable this to be achieved.

How long will the plaque remain on the Memorial Wall?

They remain on display for a ten-year period from the date that the plaque is installed. If after the 10 year period and you feel that you do not wish to renew, you may arrange to collect the plaque.
