Dudley Council is preparing new policies and guidance. The timetable for the production of these documents is available in the ‘Local Development Scheme’.

Consultation is currently underway on the Halesowen Area Action Plan. You have until 21^st December to submit your comments to the Publication document. After that, both the Halesowen and Stourbridge Area Action Plans will be submitted for public examination in February 2013.

Dudley Council is currently preparing a Community Infrastructure Levy. It is intended that a Preliminary Draft Charging Schedule will be published for public consultation in early 2013.

New and updated SPD’s are currently in preparation. These include an updated ‘New Housing Development SPD’, ‘Design in Brierley Hill Town Centre SPD’, ‘Planning for Health SPD’, ‘Shop fronts SPD’ and ‘Sustainable Buildings SPD’.
