Yellow Heat Health Alert

The UK Health Security Agency has issued a Yellow Heat Health Alert for the West Midlands from 12pm on 4 July to 8pm on 11 July 2026. These alerts are a reminder for everyone to take extra care during the hot weather and to look out for those who may need additional support. Bikeability plus - Learn to Ride

Is for anyone aged 4 and above who would like to ride a bike with pedals independently. The course is delivered in an off-road traffic free environment. At this level the training does not attempt to simulate on road cycling.
The main aim of the course is to teach the trainee the skills required to ride a bike with pedals independently.

The course will build confidence whilst developing motor skills and dynamic balance.

The Learn to Ride course comprises of the following:

• Mount / dismount the bike
• Balance
• Steer
• Brake
• Pedal
