Halesowen Leisure Centre

The Halesowen leisure Centre has many facilities comprising of pools, dance studios, fitness suite, squash courts & rooms. The centre caters for sports, fitness and recreation activities.

Our facilities also allow us to cater for meetings, birthday parties and functions.

Free Car Parking

Customers can enjoy up to one hour's free parking at Dudley Council car parks. For further details see ticket machines located on the car parks.

Swimming times during term time and school holidays are available on Pool Opening Times

Please note: The main pool will close on Friday 20 October, 12pm to 5pm for maintenance. Last admission is 11.30am. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Life guard - web version
Learn to be a Lifeguard 

Swimmers can learn life saving skills with a nationally recognised training course at Halesowen Leisure Centre.

The Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) national pool lifeguard courses run from Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm, with the exam taking place on the Friday.

Participants will receive a course manual and special tuition and will be expected to take an exam at the end. Those who complete the course successfully will obtain an official lifeguard qualification and certificate.

Participants must be over 16 and will be expected to take a pre-arranged swimming test beforehand.

The course costs £245* and spaces must be pre-booked with a deposit of £55 paid to secure a place on the day of the swim test. The remaining balance is to be paid two week before the course starts.

Online leisure bookings

Online Leisure bookings can now be made to book: Squash / Racketball, Badminton, Indoor 5-a-side Football, Netball and Basketball.

Swimming

A range of Swimming Lessons takes place  in the safe environment of the teaching pool.

All instructors are fully qualified, experienced swimming teachers, who constantly encourage and help in the water to reassure all children and swimmers.

Membership schemes

Memberships are available from less than £1.00 per day with no long term membership commitment.

Memberships are easy to take out. All you have to do is to fill in an application form (available at each of our leisure centres) and hand it in at reception where you will have your photograph taken for your membership card.
