We can offer you

  • Free day tickets to attend job interviews

  • Two Free monthly travel passes when starting a new job. That's up to £194 worth of free travel

  • Free sustainable travel information, advice and guidance

To be eligible for WorkWise support you must

  • Be unemployed prior to applying for support

  • Live within the Dudley Borough

  • Have a valid national insurance number Provide confirmation of interview or job start

  • Apply for a one day interview pass before attending job interviews 

  • Be starting work for over 16 hours or more per week

  • Not have been referred to a mandatory provider (on a work programme) 

  • For monthly travel passes be signed off from benefits or have an immediate sign off date

  • Have not received assistance from WorkWise to travel to a new job in the last 12 months

  • If not in receipt of benefits - contact us

Important

Please make your application for WorkWise support at Jobcentre Plus offices in Dudley, Stourbridge and Halesowen.

Please note that you must complete your application for WorkWise support for a new job within five working days of starting your new employment.

Proof of unemployment, identity (driving licence, passport, and birth certificate), current address and proof of interview or new job start will be required.

A photocard is required to issue a monthly travel pass, so please provide a photocard from an old bus pass or a passport size photo.
