We provide information and support for individuals with learning disabilities and their families.

Dudley Disability Service

Dudley Disability Service supports adults from the age of 18 with learning or physical disabilities and/or autism to live independent and fulfilling lives.

Dudley Learning Disability Partnership Board

We work with the Dudley Learning Disability Partnership Board. Together we discuss and plan ways we can work towards a better future for people with learning disabilities in Dudley borough.

Dudley's Local Offer

Dudley's Local Offer is a one stop resource of information and services available to children and young people (aged 0-25) with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND), their parents, carers and families.

Shared Lives care scheme

Shared Lives foster carer shares their home and family with an adult with learning disabilities, or with other care or support needs, to help them to live well. There are lots of care options to suit individual needs.

Many people are choosing Shared Lives over other forms of care as it provides personalised, quality care allowing individuals to live ordinary lives as part of a family.

Big health and wellbeing check up

Every year the Department of Health asks every local authority about the health and well-being of people with learning disabilities and requires them to complete a self-assessment. As such it is essential that we understand the views of people with learning disabilities and their families/carers.

If you care for someone with a learning disability, we would like to hear your views to ensure we continue to deliver the best service for you.
